at the moment i have a Sonix 3DX 450 V4 frame which i have had for about 8 months now to which i have installed all the best electronics...(Align XL motor, Align ESC, Hitec HS65 mg on cyclics, Futaba Gy401 gyro and a Futaba S9257 tail servo)
Now i was looking to sell this and go for the Align 450 PRO Super Combo (with all Align electronics included) which i have seen on a certain auction site for £285 delivered !
Has anyone gone from a clone with decent electronics to the pro and if so did you notice any difference ?
Before anyone says i should go for a bigger heli like the trex 500 i have already been down that path but the average crash for a 500 was about £50-60 where as a 450 is about £20-30 so it's really just a financial matter rather than ability to fly a larger heli i'm not saying i constantly crash but because i am pushing myself more on the 3D side mistakes do happen and along with a few mechanical faults i personally just find the 450 size is a cheap all round learning tool so for the present time i want to stay with the 450 size heli.........So getting back to my question is the PRO a worth while 'upgrade' ?
