Hi,
I'm so new to this I haven't even got a heli off the ground yet. There's my background.
I'm attempting to setup an Inteceptor 400 that I built from scratch. I'm using the recommended equipment (acer-lab 40a esc, esky Rx/Tx combo, acerlab servos(2xdigital), acerlab motor 3100, acerlab gyro).
I think I've built the copter adequately. I'm trying to setup the Tx. Thought it was working well but noticed the pitch servo was reversed. This is fine but now my esc is giving me those beeps that say the throttle is reversed. The throttle and pitch are linked are they not? It should be a simple case of reprogramming the esc to say that up is down and down is up, ie throttle up equals pitch increase etc.
Does anyone have experience with the Acer-lab 40a esc? The manual it came with is not the clearest thing i've read.
PS - I've literally only just started learning about r/c heli's in the last few weeks so any tips on getting a heli off the ground would be appreciated. I have been trawling through these forums for a few weeks so know the basics.
If anyone knows the correct setup for the receiver connections that would be good too, just to reassure myself.
Cheers,
Ben x
