Hey Les,

You won't need to change anything to use the DX6I except the receiver. Most new trans come with the receiver. If not, you will have to purchase one to work with the trans. 6200, 6100, ...

Have you left in the bind plug?

If so, all you do is first use it to bind, then remove it.

Also, you have got the connections to the RX the right way round?

well, i answered, but i`ll try again, it worked very well on my 450, so cannot see why it wiould not be fine on the 250, apart from that, there certainly would be no fitment issues.
