If the tip had burn't out then you have a lean running motor that may be the reason why it's cutting out

I would say you nicad his probably given up i run a li-on in mine nicad's are have nasty habits of just giving up without warning.
But you should get 3-4 flights out of a nicad

not that there too big just that the tolarances are slightly different so they aren't as tight as before there is nothing to worry about though if they won't come off easy.

Hi,
A shuttle is a 30 size heli there isn't a lot of space you should go for the o.s32 or the TT39 or some thing that size any bigger and you won't fit it in.
