HXT 500's fit better than the 9 gram servos and regardless of what people will tell you they are reliable unless you crash. If you do crash they are mega cheap so its not the end of the world.

I have HXT 500s on the cyclic on my Skya 250 works spot on. Not quite long enough so made the screw hole into a slot and they fit perfect.

Not sure about the colour its like a strange sort of lightish blue I think it's supposed to be titanium, would have preferred black.

Perhaps it snapped when you hit the floor would be highly unlikely for it to snap in flight.

Crash could have been caused by many things, servo failure, mecanical failure, wind, somthing coming loo ...

They are 28c with a burst of 35c as I said in my original post. 28c would give a continuous output of 61.6 amps and a burst of 77 amps more than enough for most 450s.
