hello to you all

my name is graham and live in tamworth (midlands)

i have 2 walkera 4’s and im getting on well with them  i can hover in one place for the life of the battery and land where i want them to,hav’nt masterd nose in yet ,i’ll get there soon i hope lol here are a few pics to show how im getting on . I now fly without the training gear the first time was a bit nerve racking but i found my heli more stable,

i have upgraded to the esky king 2 this is a great heli when it works ok,i only had it for 2 mins and the 2 of esky servos packed up and another 10mins flight time the other 2 esky servos packed up so i have replaced them all with towerpro sg90s they were a bit of a tight fit but they work great with the stock remote ,

everything was great for another 2 flights and then the stock motor that comes with the king2 burnt out shocking since the king2 only had 30mins flight time in total,i was then given a stock motor and  that only lasted for 45mins flight time the motor that come with the king2 is to poor, they got so hot that it warped a little of the frame where the motor sits i now use the 3800 brushless out runner motor which is great there is more than enough power with the 1800 mah lipo,

if you are thinking of getting put an extra £50 for upgrades to the price of the heli,

i thought i best update this as i hav’nt in while lol

i now have the belt cp and what a heli it is, ive had it for 2 months now and being the 450 size heli its alot more stable in the air, and now i use the sanwa rd6000 rx with it the head speed is crazy lol,

with the king 2 i had a crash and the parts i needed to get airborn again would have cost around £30 + so and the belt cp bare bones is only £40ish off heliguy so i thought what the hell ill get  the belt cp instead and i took the electrics off the king2 and put them on the belt cp,when the belt arived it needed a little setting up i.e blade pitch setting swash plate leveling, but 2hrs after the postman dropped it off i was flying it in the fields,

i feel my flying has improved alot since i had the belt as with the king2 and the dragonfly 4 i felt i was’nt getting anywhere much past hovering and a bit of forward flight but in the last 2 months i can fly figure eights ,fly nose in and ive even done a barrel roll and a loop everything has just clicked into place,im getting a 2nd belt cp soon as a spare heli its shocking that i can get two belt cps for the price as one t-rex lol ,i will get a t-rex one day but for now at the stage where i am starting to learn 3d im more than happy with the belt cp and the cost to repair them is alot cheaper

here is how to check if your belt is tight enough, first get your heli and block your tail blade with your finger as shown in the picture and then turn your main blades clockwise and watch the belt at the back of your tail gear as shown in the pic to see if it is slipping, i always have it so you can see the belt slightly lift but does’nt slip over the back belt pully,it dont need alot of force and to tighten the belt simply loosen the four screws on the clamp under where the gyro is as shown in the pic and pull the boom back bit by bit and keep checking your belt like shown above when your belt is tight enough then tighten the four screws on the clamp and job donecheers graham
