Idle-up crash

After Crashing in idle-up mode because of a servo failure, I was having lots of problems trying to get the Heli back to working order. http://www.heliguy.com/Forum/no-lift-after-heli-crash-please-help-t7009.html

I changed the servo but found that the swashplate was binding when it was tilted. this was causeing a slowdown on the headspeed, and caused it to be very unstable with not much lift. So after discussion with the nice guys at the forum, I decided to strip down the rotor head and check everything, what i found was one offendng part, the rotor head control link as shown below. This was very stiff and it turned out that the pin was bent. All that was needed was to push the pin out and straighten it back.

The heli is now back to working order without any binding and speed slowdown. One good thing from this is that i know how to strip the head down compleatly and identify any problem areas.
