After yesterdays attempt of some loops i had to higher the gyro gain to stop the tail yawing to the righ so i spent 15 mins fiddling with the gyro and i couldnt get it to go away so i alterd it one last time and put it into idle up (big mistake now that i think about it) i took off and gave it full throttle and it wagged all over the place i panaked like hell and brought it down it went on its side and did the funky chicken i gave it full negative Embarassed then turned it in to idle down heres whats damaged
Blades £8.99 (one has a bit missing off the end and a crack in it the other is ok)
Shaft £3.99 (bent)
Servo linkage £3.99 (to swashplate)

Main gear (theeth gritted and shaft gear totaly knacker :( )
Washout arm £2.99 (one linkage arm is missing)

Total £19.96
Fly bar is bent but i could bend it back in to shape quite easily. Few!

Heres the damage

A very slightly bent flybar

A very slightly bent flybar

A very bent main shaft :(

Today i went down to my local field telling my self i’ am going to do a loop or roll and if i find it easy enough see how long i can hold it inverted for so i got some height (about 40ft) and gave it full throttle and i was about to give it full forward stick when the tail voilenty yawed 90 degreeses to the right so i had to pull out i tried it several times and the same thing happend :( so i tried and alieron tic tac toe with the same problem i have now had enough opinions to think it is the gyro gain not being high enough so i will lower it tommorow if the weather is good enough i had one last go at a loop i managed to get the whole heli vertical in the air then the tail yawed agian so i pulled out but pulled out in a stall turn :D it felt so good that i have finaly done one make me happy i achieved somthing new :) sorry but i had no video camera or digital camera on me so no evidence :( but when i get the gyro sorted i will do the whole loop cant wait!! :D :D :D

Hello Heliguy users and bloggers My name is Ollie West i’ am 15 years old and i have been flying RC Helicopters from September 2006. I started by getting FMS (a cheap simulator) i practised on that for a couple of weeks then when i got the money together i bought a Lama V3 and flew and crashed it for a couple of months :( then when i could fly it confidently i bought a Twister 3D i made my own training under carriage and practised on it for a few weeks then i found an indoor club and went there and took some videos here is the first one (the quality isnt very good it was done on a mobile phone)  HERE  that was the second flight i had with no training under carriage then i progressed to this  HERE  i improved my nose in skill and circuits then i took my flying outside and recorded  THIS  i flew this at my clubs flying field  Redruth District Model Flying Club  i havent crashed my Twister 3D once in 5 months of flying and dont plan to i will be flying 3D soon and want to get a sponsour (if you are some one who could sponsour me i would be happy if you could). My next heli will be either a Trex 600 or JR Vibe 90 i havent decided yet. Then people saw i was a skilled pilot and let me have a go on there heli here is one of me flying a Twister Bell 47G I fly my Twister 3D of the following electroincs: GWS 8 channel reciever, a GWS gyro, and Flight Power Evo 20 Battery 1500mah 11.1 volts and the standard servos and brushless motor supplied with the Twister 3D Expert Version
