Hello Heliguy users and bloggers My name is Ollie West i’ am 15 years old and i have been flying RC Helicopters from September 2006. I started by getting FMS (a cheap simulator) i practised on that for a couple of weeks then when i got the money together i bought a Lama V3 and flew and crashed it for a couple of months
then when i could fly it confidently i bought a Twister 3D i made my own training under carriage and practised on it for a few weeks then i found an indoor club and went there and took some videos here is the first one (the quality isnt very good it was done on a mobile phone) HERE that was the second flight i had with no training under carriage then i progressed to this HERE i improved my nose in skill and circuits then i took my flying outside and recorded THIS i flew this at my clubs flying field Redruth District Model Flying Club i havent crashed my Twister 3D once in 5 months of flying and dont plan to i will be flying 3D soon and want to get a sponsour (if you are some one who could sponsour me i would be happy if you could). My next heli will be either a Trex 600 or JR Vibe 90 i havent decided yet. Then people saw i was a skilled pilot and let me have a go on there heli here is one of me flying a Twister Bell 47G I fly my Twister 3D of the following electroincs: GWS 8 channel reciever, a GWS gyro, and Flight Power Evo 20 Battery 1500mah 11.1 volts and the standard servos and brushless motor supplied with the Twister 3D Expert Version
