CAA Approved Training

Heliguy are a Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) approved National Qualified Entity (NQE) with a wealth of experience in commercial drone training. Our training includes the following sections:

• Ground School - Classroom-based training on safe drone operations, UK air law, airspace operating principles and equipment used during flight. Once completed, a theory exam must be taken.

• Operations Manual - Document submitted to the CAA which outlines how you intend to use your drone in a commercial capacity. Heliguy provides help and guidance with the manual.

• Flight Assessment - Practical assessment where the pilot’s control of their drone as well as safety checks and notifications are assessed.
