DJI Mini 2 - How to FLY DJI Mini 2
Learn how to fly your new DJI Mini 2 with this step-by-step tutorial.

The DJI Mini 2 comes with the option to use it's Automated take-off and landing feature. This comes in super handy when you're beginning to get to grips with the newly designed Remote Controller.
We'll also be looking at how to fly the DJI Mini 2 manually by using the Remote Controller sticks.
Let's jump straight into this tutorial and take flight!
Place DJI Mini 2 on Level Ground: For the safest take-off, choose a clear location with level ground.
Power on Remote Controller: Press and hold the Remote Controller Power Button to power on the Remote Controller.
Power on DJI Mini 2: Press and hold the Power Button on the Mini 2.
Click Auto Take-off: The Take-off Button is located on the left side of the screen. Click it to have the DJI Mini 2 take off automatically without having to use the Remote Controller. Automatic Flying Modes: You can choose Automatic Take-off and Landing modes.
Click Return Home: To land, simply press the RTH Button on the left-hand side of the screen. The Mini 2 will automatically land without using the Remote Controller. Or, if you prefer manually flying modes, follow the below steps:
Manual Flying Modes: Grab the controller and push the Sticks Down and Inwards, starting the Mini 2 propeller motors.
Push Left Stick Upwards to Ascend: Once the propellers are powered up, you can now take off by pushing the left stick upwards.
Push Left Stick Downwards to Descend: To descend, simply push the left stick downwards. This will turn the aircraft to the left.
Push Left Stick Right to Turn Right: Push the left stick to the right to turn the Mini 2 right.
Push Right Stick Upwards to Move Forwards: Pushing the right stick upwards will cause the DJI Mini 2 to move forwards.
Push Right Stick Downwards to Move Backwards: Pushing the right stick downwards will cause the DJI Mini 2 to move backwards.
Push Right Stick Left to Move Left: Move right by pushing the right stick to the right.
Push Right Stick Right to Move Right: Push the right stick to the left to move to the left.
Push and Hold Left Stick Down to Land: To land push and hold the left stick downwards until the Mini 2 has landed and the propeller motors have powered down.
Releasing Sticks During Flight: If you release the Remote Controller sticks during flight, the Mini 2 will hover in place until you regain control.
Pressing Pause/RTH Button: Press the RTH/Pause Button to pause the flight or have the Mini 2 return to it's original take-off area.
