“What matters to us is that we’re out there unearthing the planet’s natural beauty.”
That’s the sentiment of two intrepid travellers who have embarked on an epic adventure across the globe.
And for Lisa Morris and Jason Spafford, drones are playing a major part in their extraordinary expedition, helping them capture some of the world’s most impressive sights in unique and imaginative ways.
Thanks to the cinematic capabilities of the DJI Mavic 2 Pro and the Inspire 2 integrated with the X7 camera, the pair has assembled a dramatic and breathtaking library of footage which showcases natural treasures in stunning detail and from a very different perspective.
The Inspire 2 is a game-changer, but you should see the camera performance of the Mavic 2 Pro! Drones have increased my earnings as a photographer.

From thundering waterfalls to sweeping vistas and snow-covered mountains, this extraordinary aerial view of the world highlights just how powerful drones can be for striking content creation – offering an affordable, quick, portable, reliable and quality solution for filmography and photography.
These self-proclaimed wilderness seekers turned to DJI Gold Partner Heliguy for their trusty drones – a key part of their cargo. And no matter where they are in the world, Heliguy has been on hand to offer invaluable advice and support – including checking flight logs.
Remarkable Drones Capture Remarkable Content
Travelling and living in a Toyota Hilux, Jason and Lisa are currently six months into a trip of a lifetime, taking them from Northern Norway to South Africa, via the Faroe Islands and Iceland. They have previously dived the world as instructor diveguides and motorcycled the Americas.
It certainly is a photographic expedition like no other and they are logging each and every step on their website, fourwheelednomad.com.
And when it comes to chronicling their adventures, the DJI Mavic 2 Pro and the Inspire 2 drones have been key creative tools.
Jason said: “Aerial photography is addictive. This relatively new style of photography gives me ample opportunity to learn and grow as a photographer.
“The Mavic 2 Pro is a doddle to launch and is portable when I’m off yomping somewhere.
“While the Inspire 2 is an event to get airborne, the image quality results are significantly more impactful. The Inspire 2 also lets me film in 6K, so I’m future-proofing my work.
“That said, you should see the camera performance, video transmission, flight time, flight speed, noise levels, omnidirectional obstacle sensing and intelligent functions on the Mavic 2 Pro.
“Ultimately, while the Mavic 2 Pro is my everyday go-to, the Inspire 2 represents a game-changer destined to be my aerial cinematic go-to for years to come.”

A closer look at the drones shows why they are the perfect tools for the job.
Developed in collaboration with Hasselblad, the DJI Mavic 2 Pro’s camera offers outstanding quality and details captured in 20MP resolution. It can also shoot 4K videos at a bit rate of 100 Mbps.
Thanks to its one-inch sensor and 28mm equivalent prime lens, the ISO can go up to 12800, while its 10-bit Dlog-M colour profile generates higher dynamic range and deeper colours for both videos and still images.

Thanks to its light frame, incredible portability and modest price tag. the Mavic 2 Pro is arguably the best all-round drone of its kind. The Mavic 2 Pro is part of our Black Friday 2019 deals, on offer at £1,199 - saving you £150.
Meanwhile, the DJI Inspire 2 is an incredibly powerful drone, designed specifically for professional filmographers and high-end content creators.
Highlights include a CineCore2.1 image processing system, recording video at up to 6K in CinemaDNG/RAW and 5.2K in Apple ProRes when used with the DJI Zenmuse X7 camera.

It can also operate in temperatures from -20°C to 40°C - important for Lisa and Jason when they are tackling unpredictable and challenging climates around the world.
Of the X7, this compact Super 35 camera with an integrated gimbal is able to snap 24MP images and offers the best in next-level professional aerial cinematography.

Jason added: “Both drones give my artwork a unique all-encompassing dimension I could never otherwise achieve from the ground. And who can afford to keep hiring a helicopter?
“I can capture what we can’t see at eye-line and gratefully, it has increased my earnings as a photographer.
"I love the fact that both drones have a follow me function, so I can traverse technical terrain – such as scaling a volcano, for example – while the drone captures vast expanses of landscape overhead.
"The Mavic 2 also has side sensors in the intelligent mode, helping to increase flight safety.”
Heliguy Here To Help - Across The World
They might be halfway across the world, but Lisa and Jason know that they can turn to Heliguy for any support or advice.
Jason said: “Our experience of working with Heliguy has been second to none.
“The Heliguy team never fails to be forthcoming with advice and is prepared to give me all the time I need over the phone and go the extra mile when I’m on the road – be that in Argentina, Alaska – wherever.
"Upon wondering whether the Mavic 2 Pro had a fault one time, I uploaded my flight-log details over to Heliguy, and the team was able to check if the fault was machine or pilot error. That’s what I call service.”
Adventures Like No Other
Lisa and Jason’s current trip is not the first time they have embarked on a truly awesome adventure.
In fact, since 2000, this British couple – unsurprisingly motivated by travel and visual storytelling – have been living life on the road, having sold their cottage in Nottinghamshire.
Swapping their ‘9-5 lives’ for globe-trotting adventures, the pair has soaked up the best that the world has to offer, including a monumental 80,000 mile trip on dual sports bikes which saw them wend their way from the southernmost tip of Argentina to the top of Alaska.
Lisa said: “Remote exploration is the driving force, enabling our skillset as content creators, and adventuring as media professionals for the last two decades. I guess our unique selling point is that we are permanently out on location.
“Jason’s beautiful captures of terrain less trammelled can be found on Instagram @fourwheelednomad. Equally in need of a creative outlet, I freelance for publications worldwide with tales from the trails in the hopes of inspiring people to consider their relationship with nature.
“What matters to us is that we’re out there unearthing the planet’s natural beauty. Right now, there is nothing more appealing than staying self-reliant – come freezing one’s maracas off in Iceland’s interior, or having the mind and cobwebs blown in a wind-tortured valley.
"We just love to stuff ourselves with everything an unscripted, four-wheeled life has to give and sometimes wonder if there’s enough lifetime left.”
For Lisa and Jason, drones have played a huge part of this adventure with no end in sight, helping them to share and look back on memories and experiences that will last several lifetimes.
