DroneControl FirstResponder has been built with security in mind. It is a highly-secure Peer-to-Peer encrypted live streaming, audio, and remote control software. DroneControl First Responder utilises WebRTC, which has several built-in security features that make it a secure protocol for real-time communication.

These features include Secure Real-time Transport Protocol (SRTP) to encrypt data, Peer-to-Peer communication without going through cloud-based servers, permission-based access, and Network Address Translation (NAT) traversal.
