THE FUTURE
One of the slides which was shown to the audience at The Royal Aeronautical Society, in London, was entitled The Future, and it set out a vision for how drones and traditional aircraft can share the same airspace. The key points were:
Much can be achieved within existing regulatory frameworks;
120 partners, 20 companies, ATC and manned aviation fully integrated into GaurdianUTM O/S;
De-confliction of traffic via multiple communications channels;
A flourishing drone services ecosystem built atop GaurdianUTM O/S, deployed by NATS.
