How to Switch Between DJI Mini 2 Flight Modes: Remote Controller Toggle
Learn what each Flight Mode can do for you with this easy to follow tutorial.
The DJI Mini 2 Remote Controller features a Flight Mode slider, allowing you to switch between Normal, Cine, and Sport modes quickly.
Each mode is designed for different flight scenarios, offering varying levels of control and speed.
How to Change Flight Modes
To switch between flight modes, simply move the Flight Mode toggle left or right on the Remote Controller.
Normal Mode (Centre Position): This mode is aligned with the red marking and provides a balanced flight experience. It offers smooth handling and is the most commonly used mode for general flying.
Cine Mode (Left Position): Reduces the aircraft's speed to enhance stability and gimbal performance, making it perfect for capturing cinematic, steady footage. Best used in open environments where minimal movement is required.
Sport Mode (Right Position): Increases the Mini 2’s speed and responsiveness, making it ideal for fast-paced flying. This mode is best suited for open areas without obstacles, allowing you to track moving subjects effectively.
Test Each Mode for the Best Experience
Now that you understand the different Flight Modes, experiment with each one to find what suits your flying style. Practising in a safe environment will help you get familiar with the different flight behaviours.
