Update the DJI Ronin S Firmware

Step by step guide on how to update your DJI Ronin S using the DJI Assistant application on your PC, Mac or Laptop.

In this blog, we provide a step-by-step guide for updating the firmware on the DJI Ronin-S using DJI Assistant. 1. Turn on the base of the DJI Ronin-S; do not power on the top section.

Connect the DJI Ronin to the provided USB-C cable.
Plug the other end of the cable into your device.
Launch DJI Assistant for Ronin and sign in with your DJI account.
Find the update for the Ronin S and click "Update".
Click "Start Update".
Your DJI Ronin S will start updating. During this period, do not power on the top half or unplug the device.
Your update is complete.
Restart your Ronin S; your update is now complete.

If the update has not worked for any reason, restart the update process.
