DJI X-Port
Control Parameter Settings
DJI X-Port Gimbal for Developers: The DJI X-Port gimbal allows developers and manufacturers to create custom payloads using DJI's advanced technology. It provides access to essential aircraft resources, including power systems, communication links, and critical data such as GPS, flight altitude, and app date and time.
Comprehensive Software Support: DJI offers a suite of software tools to support development with the X-Port gimbal, including the Onboard SDK, Mobile SDK, DJI Pilot app, and DJI Assistant 2 desktop application.
Payload SDK Integration: The X-Port gimbal connects through the Payload SDK (PSDK) port, facilitating power supply and communication for custom payloads. Users can configure various gimbal parameters such as pitch, roll, and yaw via DJI Assistant 2 for Matrice or the DJI Pilot App.
Development Requirements: During the development phase, the X-Port gimbal must be used in conjunction with Payload SDK Development Kit 2.0 to ensure seamless integration and functionality.

Payload Requirements
Width and Size Constraints: The payload's width must align with the 80mm pitch width of the X-Port and must not exceed the wheelbase.
Weight Limit: The maximum allowable payload weight is 450g. Exceeding this may damage the gimbal or the pressure-reducing ball.
Tilt Clearance: Ensure the payload, when positioned at the front of the pitch axis centerline, is not obstructed by the yaw arm when tilted up to 45°.
Ground Clearance: If the payload touches the ground, use the Long Landing Gear to avoid damage.
Port and Waterproof Seal: Ensure the payload's port is completely flat, allowing the waterproof seal to close securely.
Structural Integrity: Maintain sufficient connection stiffness between payload components. For better durability and performance, it is recommended to use an aluminium alloy shell, avoiding 3D-printed or carbon-fibre shells.
