Custom Scale RTF Helicopters

  Many RC helicopter enthusiasts love the idea of having a realistic helicopter fuselage. These can be very time consuming to build, often needing to be modified in some way to fit a certain RC helicopter design. Heliguy engineers have extensive experience in building and modifying some of the most realistic, comprehensive and high quality builds on the market. Using an Align Trex helicopter to begin with is often the best option, as these offer the highest quality of components and design. Also many HeliArtist™ products – one of the leading brands in model and scale fuselages are designed to fit the Align series.

  A premiere example would have to be the Airwolf 450 scale fuselage, this, combined with a Trex 450, is the ultimate in design and style. The best examples of these have a fully retractable landing gear that can be controlled from an extra radio channel. Modification is sometimes required to allow these systems to work with a limited aount of radio channels, this is where Heliguy's experience really helps to make these models as life-like as possible.

  Many of the models are also fully equipped with navigation lights. These look amazing in a darker environment, forward facing high power white LEDs and red or yellow tail lights give an accurate representation of the real thing. Even if these are not directly available, Heliguy can fit custom navigation, landing and emergency lights if required. Some people have taken this up a level by adding a stabilisation system such as Alien Command™ or Helicommand™ systems. Heliguy engineers can incorporate these into the helicopter frame, no effect on the look of the aircraft, but a great increase in stability and ease of flight!

  Other models available include Augusta 109, 500D and Ranger at 450 size, the Airwolf at 500 size as well as an Apache AH-64 with multi-blade head in desert camouflage - fully painted by Heliguy! These models are all designed to the same high standards, with the retractable landing gear and mutli-rotor heads where applicable. Heliguy can adapt any of these designs to your specifications at a standard cost of £150 for all work. You end you end up with a high quality, fully ready-to-fly helicopter system that looks fantastic. The only thing missing is the Airwolf soundtrack, feel free to add that yourself!
