How to Activate the DJI Osmo Action

In this blog, we will look at how to Activate the DJI Osmo Action camera. To complete this, you will need the Osmo Action and a mobile device that can run the DJI Mimo App.

We also recommend fully charging the Osmo Action before completing these steps.

Step 1: Turn on the DJI Osmo Action using the power button on the top of the device.

Step 2: When you first power the camera on, scan the QR code, or open the DJI Mimo App, it will launch in "activation mode."

Step 3: Open the DJI Mimo app and press "Activate Your Device".

Step 4: Log in to your DJI account or sign up for your first account.

Step 5: Once logged in to your account, click the activation banner again.

Step 6: Click connect on the app to the name that matches the name on the Osmo Pocket.

Step 7: Ensure the same number is attached to the Osmo Action and the App, and click "Accept".

Step 8: Follow the steps through and activate the DJI Osmo Action.

Step 9: Click "Activate" to fully activate the DJI Osmo Action.

Step 10: Wait for the Osmo Action to finish the activation process; this may take some time.

Step 11: Your DJI Osmo Action is now fully activated.
