Drone Servicing – heliguy™

Drone Servicing

Keep your drone in working order for operational continuity

What Is Included In A Drone Service?

heliguy™ drone servicing covers structural, motor, battery and cable checks; software updates and calibrations; and camera functionality.

If any faults are found, we will ask you to approve the necessary repair before our technicians initiate a remedy.

Following repair, we will perform a flight test to ensure the drone works under operational conditions.

A Certificate of Service will be issued after the service/repairs are complete. Please note that this is not a certificate of airworthiness, as these can only be supplied by the relevant authorities.

How Much Does A Drone Service Cost?

The price of a heliguy™ in-house drone service depends on the size of your drone and whether or not the equipment was purchased from us. We offer the following packages:

  • Small - £99 heliguy™ customers; £159 non-heliguy™ customers: DJI Mini Series; DJI Mavic Series; DJI Air Series; DJI Phantom Series; DJI Avata Series; DJI Flip Series; DJI Neo Series; DJI FPV. Book your Small Drone Service.

  • Medium - £149 heliguy™ customers; £299 non-heliguy™ customers: DJI M30 Series; DJI Matrice 4 Series; DJI Inspire Series; DJI M3D Series; DJI M4D Series. Book your Medium Drone Service.

  • Heavy-lift - £249 heliguy™ customers; £499 non-heliguy™ customers: DJI M300/M350 RTK; DJI Matrice 200 Series. Book your Heavy-lift Drone Service.

All prices include VAT and include the cost of collection/return in Mainland UK. Repairs, if required, incur an additional cost.

How Long Does A Drone Service Take?

We aim to complete all services within 10 working days. If there is an issue found with your equipment, it will be booked in for repair and the process will be extended to 28 working days.

How Do I Book My Drone In For A Service?

Use our online booking system to create a ticket for servicing. Complete the necessary details and select Service under the Help Topic drop-down.

Send your equipment by collection or DPD label issued by us. This cost is included in the price of your service (UK mainland only).

We do service items from outside of the UK mainland, but the cost of shipping and collection is extra.

How Often Should I Service My Drone?

We recommend that you service your drone at least once every 6-12 months or every 200-400 flight hours.

The more often you're using the equipment, the more often we'd recommend a service.

For those using drones commercially, we'd suggest a service at least once every six months to ensure that your equipment is up to the job.

Is Warranty Offered On Servicing?

We do not offer a warranty on the servicing itself, however, a six-month warranty will be issued on any parts that are replaced.
